Sara Schemmel serves as Chief Financial Officer of SENTRYSIX International, bringing more than 15 years of accounting, financial management, and tax advisory experience to the company’s executive leadership team. As a Certified Public Accountant licensed in North Carolina and Missouri, Sara provides financial expertise supporting the organization’s fiscal oversight, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic growth.

Throughout her career, Sara has advised businesses across diverse industries and organizational structures, developing extensive expertise in financial reporting, business accounting, regulatory compliance, and strategic tax planning. Her specialties include pass-through entity taxation, corporate and partnership tax compliance, financial management, and proactive financial planning.

In addition to her leadership role at SENTRYSIX, Sara is the founder of Schemmel CPA PLLC, a modern, technology-driven accounting firm focused on delivering efficient, accessible, and responsive financial services to business owners. Her entrepreneurial background and commitment to innovation bring a practical, forward-thinking perspective to financial leadership.

Sara holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Kansas. She maintains active CPA licensure in North Carolina and Missouri.
