Chief Trevor Barnes is a seasoned law enforcement leader with over 18 years experience and is currently serving as the Chief of Police for the City of Clyde, Texas. With a distinguished career marked by organizational transformation, community engagement, and mission-focused leadership, Chief Barnes has earned statewide recognition as a trusted voice in modern policing.

In 2024–2025, he served as President of the Texas Police Chiefs Association (TPCA), guiding critical statewide initiatives and championing innovation in public safety, training, and policy development. His leadership within TPCA strengthened partnerships between law enforcement agencies, community stakeholders, and state legislative bodies – elevating the standard of policing across Texas.

Chief Barnes joined the SENTRYSIX International Advisory Board as a Strategic Advisor and Law Enforcement Liaison, where he provides insight on operational readiness, agency collaboration, and the evolving security landscape. His deep experience in public safety leadership is instrumental in supporting SENTRYSIX’s mission to deliver next-generation national security and critical infrastructure protection solutions.
