As a security professional, Mark has 30 years of experience in all phases of security management to include risk assessments, master planning, design and engineering, cost estimation, and project management. Mark’s field of expertise is Healthcare Security. Mark is Certified in Healthcare Security Management as a Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator (CHPA), and Healthcare Safety Manager as a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP).

Mark performs risk assessments for clients to determine their vulnerabilities to crime and the threats to their business then develops recommendations to mitigate or manage the risk to the client’s business. Mark’s experience includes complete system replacement projects for clients with multiple facilities. Mark also has extensive experience in the design of IP-based Digital Video Management, Access Control, and Alarm Systems for clients with multiple sites and hundreds of cameras. Mark oversees the installation of these applications in accordance with the Life Safety Code, Joint Commission Standards, and Authority Having Jurisdiction.

Mark attends frequent training, seminars, and exhibits to achieve extensive knowledge of the current technology and trends in the security industry.

Mark is a member of the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety (IAHSS) and the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers (IBCSM). He currently serves as a member of the Commission on Certification with IAHSS.
